    That's not a really good portable unit. I would recommend you look up the 5L Portable water heater from Camplux. They make a very solid product.

    Yeah true, but really you can save a few $$ with Snowmaster as well. They are a bad product. Now that said, Dominic is just a much more seasoned brand. But you will pay more for as well.

    Garmin Overlander vs Tablet with Gaia?

    Don't get me wrong, I like Garmin products. I have one of their Inreach communicators which cost me something like $50 per month. Buts for emergencies. Overlander is overpriced piece of tech if you want my 2 cents. Go with Gaia, and run it through your phone or tablet.

    Not to ask a dump question, but we have pushed off our Alaska trip twice now because the Canadian border is still closed. Are there any other ways to legally cross or get my rig up there? Is there a permit that can be picked up that shows you are heading straight to Alaska?
