I'm bored as hey. So why not spam the crap out of this forum with questions and make new friends in the process?! First off, to the admin, thank you for finally adding a forum here! Love it.

Now for the rest of the peeps here: How do you make your coffee when camping?


Me? When I have time french press. When rushed, instant .
 
Have to say that I am still looking for what makes a good cup of coffee in the morning.
So always interested in hearing (reading) how everyone does it.
 
Hey Duders, I def recommend that Aero press ! French press style, with its light weight design, its perfect for camping and won't break storing away like those glass chemex pour overs! Flavor is insane ive been using for 10 years!
 
I've never heard of that AeroPress, and looked up this morning. So this thing is like a french press?
 
LOL just ordered the Aeropress, you all sold me on trying it out. Had been doing a combination of instant coffee packets and a variety of pour over coffees. I like French press coffee, but never want to carry around a glass French press. This Aeropress looks like a nice alternative.
 
Just got one, and trying to figure out the right amount of coffee to use. When I use in the directions (unless I'm wrong) the directions say, the coffee is crazy strong! Which is always good, but wowzeers!
 
Fun to see this thread moving along. Interesting read. I should have called this the coffee thread. LOL

Are you all grinding your coffee in the field?
 
BTW - great tip on the Aeropress! I've been using for a month now and this thing is awesome. I even use it while home! ha ha ha
