Where did you mount your GMRS radio?

I'm starting my search for a good GMRS radio, I'm curious though, where did you mount yours in your Sprinter van? I have a 2011 and 2023

Dont own a sprinter but, I've been mounting my radios under the seat using Velcro. Run an extension cable for the mic and have it plug into the dash. The Velcro I've used sticks so well to the carpet, I need a puddy knife to release it. I also run an external speaker under the seat on Velcro.
