Wheel spacers. Are they safe or not?

I am thinking of using some wheel spacers to make some room for larger tires but have heard many horror stories. Who has run them before? If you did, do you have any issues with them? It's a cheap way to make the tires fit and I like my wheels and don't want to change them for different ones with more negative offset

I have been running them for a while with no issues mate. If you check your wheel bearing regularly you will be fine

Yes they are, just go for relatively small ones and you should be perfectly fine. I have used them in the past

If you do remote touring and long days on dirt I would not recommend them as you may get issues with wheel bearings. Otherwise you should be fine.
