What to use for shower floor?

We recently added a shower to our set up. But the problem with this is that your feet get dirty from the water mixing with the dirt on the ground. Even if you put a mat, they still manage to get dirty. I need something larger that allows water to pass through.

What are you using or can recommend for shower floor?

You could always use 1x2" planks with another set screwed underneath keeping the platform off the ground. Better yet glue outdoor carpet on top of this and there you go.

I just picked up a piece of astro green at Home Depot, I'm going to glue that on piece of wood. Thanks everyone!

Good idea Ryan, but you’ll be better off gluing that to 1/4” rubber mat or something so you can roll it up when done.

You could always drill holes in the bottom of that as well

In order for this to work, you need to mat off the ground enough so the mud doesn't bounce back up
