Rotopax leaks when laid down?

I tried mountinging my Rotopax laying down and just found gas leaking all over the roof of my truck. I have these as tight as I can screw them down and I'm not slouch, it's on there. Any tips on how to prevent these from leaking?

Just to be clear, these ARE meant to be mounted laying down right?

Welcome to Rotopax. I had mine mounted on roof and had same problem. Got tired of trying to top it from leaking so mounted on the side my set up.

Mine are straight up and work just fine

Mine did as well. I moved mine to upright and no problems since.

Did you check the seals? If those are tightened down good, they shouldn't leak unless that seal is bad. I would start there.

yeah, but you just need to wrench them down good, they will stop leaking. Also make sure the seal is clear from ANY debris.
