Needing -20 rated sleeping bag

My sleeping bag has seen better days and needs to be replaced. It's a REI brand bag and honestly speaking, really wasn't the best quality. What are you using and can you confirm if you have washed it? This is where the REI bag really fell apart (literally). We followed the cleaning directions as well, it just didn't stand up to the cleaning.

What sort of budget are you trying to stay under? If no budget: North Face makes some of the best sleeping bags, but get ready, their pricing is up there. If you want a more budget friendly option compared to North Face, then Teton Sports has some nice bags for decent pricing.

I have a North Face sleeping bag my wife gave me for my birthday 7 years ago. Aside from being 7 years old, it's flawless and crazy warm. Love this thing.

We have two Teton bags and pretty happy with ours. Just pay close attention to the temp ratings and right or left hand zipper.
