I was thinking the same thing! Dude went though all that effort building out the interior. But then again perhaps that was done intentionally to ward of thieves?

I'll go with that. Who knows.
Another option is he has a misconception regarding aluminum rims. On my Land cruiser forum, I watch people argue about which is better. Most of the time, no one in the argument actually has up dated knowledge with some believing myths.

Damn, that van is one serious build. Digging the tech in this. There were a few things I would do differently, but to each their own. It’s a nice van and very functional for their needs.
