How are you keeping your expensive electronics and valuables safe during camping?

Meaning where do you store these when you head off for a walk when you don't want to carry everything? Is there any way to lock up a tent where if someone opens the tent an alarm goes off?

The easiest solution would be to lock them inside the vehicle

Put them in a compartment of the truck in which they can't be seen and lock the vehicle
