Fair price for truck wrap?

To get your truck wrapped, what is a fair price? I was just quoted $5841 and was told this would only last 6 months before it would start to fade from the sun?!

Wraps aren't cheap. The problem to saying that is high or low in price depends on the person's skills doing the work.

The better ones are suppose to last 5-7 years. The issue being quality. If you decide to go this route, do some research on the diffrent types of vinyl. From what I have read, shops can install the cheaper materials and tell you its the best.
I've been considering it for a while.
