Does anyone use dehydrated food?

Does anyone take dehydrated food with them on trips where you know you will be off grid for 4-5 days? How does dehydrated food taste? is it terrible or good enough?

I use it for emergency food mate. Not gone as far as using it for proper food though yet

Not as a day to day meal. I do keep a few packs as backup food though. Pot noodles are also great for this

Yep, got a few and love them for those 'I have no time to cook' periods!

I always see some in the truck when going out on trips. I don't use it as main camp food but instead as a backup for days when I am too tired to cook or if I just run out of ingredients to cook anything worthwhile
