What size is your portable battery station you are using?

Trying to decide if I want a 500w or 1000w portable battery station. No really heavy lifting, but want something that ideally I don't need to charge every few hours. Need something that can be charged with solar as well. Looking over some of these batteries, pretty insane with how large some of these have gotten.

500w should be plenty for your needs, but make sure you get at least 100w of solar to charge it up in the field.

If you are just charging phone, watch and perhaps plugging some lights into it at night. 500w would be the best path. Lost of options.

I do own those two devices:

ecoflow River Pro 720 WH
ecoflow River Mini 210 WH

In my rig I just carry the small "ecoflow river mini", because I just need 100W USB-C and somethimes weaker Inverter Power.

It depends a lot - what do will need!

Probably you like our comparison of current Powerstations under 10kg of weight

I have two myself, one is 500w, which is what I use to charge my small items like my phone, computer and tablet. For cooking and what I call my 'house' battery is a 1500w unit.
