What do you think about a Land Rover discovery 2 overland build? Is it a good idea?

Very appealing vehicle but the engine we got in America (the v8) has many problems. Personally I would go for a Disco 1, they are far more reliable?

I love them! The discovery 2s may be more maintenance heavy than the Disco 1s though
