Tinting Jeep windshield?

When I'm leaving my truck parked while camping, it gets HOT. I could use a windshield sun screen, but I was wondering if applying some ceramic tint with high transparency would cut down on the 'hot' feeling heat?

If you go with 50%, you'll be fine, make sure it ceramic. something to keep in mind, if you wear polarized glasses, having this on windshield, might not work as you will see prism of colors at certain angle.

Dang, I thought I responded to this one. Thanks for all the comments, I went with nearly a clear, however it has some UV coating to it. Either way it should keep some of the heat out of the truck.
