Potable Water Can that don't leak?

I was originally told about Scepter, however there are negative reviews about these leaking. Or the spout rather. We want something around 5 gallons that of course good for potable water.

What can you suggest please?

We use the Ozark Trail 6 gallon water jugs. They are available at Walmart or on Amazon. We have been using them for 4 or 5 years without issues. $16.88 each is a lot cheaper than the metal jugs.

I have three scepter cans, none have leaked yet. I would guess their at least 5+ years old.

The people who say they leak, what is the circumstance?

Also, what spout? Are they talking about the vent?
