Mechanical fuel pump adjustment

My truck has a mechanical fuel pump. Is it safe to increase the fuel by a bit? I would love to get some more power out of it

Usually you can turn it up to 180 degrees without having much issue. I would start from 45 to 90 degrees, test it out and if it needs more go a bit further. Is your car turbo? Because increasing the fuel without increasing the air won't do much. So, if you want the best results you will also need to increase boost pressure

Yep, don't over do it. Turn it a little go out and drive it and then turn it again. If you are not planing on increasing boost pressure then giving it a lot more fuel won't do much other than waste fuel

Play around with it, I would also increase boost by 1-2 bar to make up for the increased fuel. This should make a noticeable difference
