Dog owners: what to use for seat protection?

We just picked up a new Jeep and my wife is not happy that the dogs (we have two) have scratched up the rear seat already. I can't stand seat covers because they look so cheap. Any options made for pet owners that we can put down on back seats?

I just have an oversized towel on the back seat. Makes it easy to wash after trips.

My wife picked up a dog mat from ebay a few years ago, works for what it is. Check out Goosegear if you want a permanent solution.

Problem with Goosegear is it's bolted down, so if you want to swap out with seats, it's a process to move things around. My buddy has one of these and when they have their kid on their trips, I guess it has turned into a royal PITA.

Most of the time our dogs just sit on the back seat and sleep, they don't move around must so we generally don't worry about the back seats.

Old towel does the job for us.
