Best way to protect your 4x4 from rust? I live in a wet environment with salty roads during winter so cars tend to rot after a few years!

Take it to a shop to get every single rust spot treated and then spray some protection. Mine has been like this for years and there is zero rust

I haven't done anything else apart from the factory coating. I find that cleaning the undercarriage after driving through salt or mud helps a lot

Protecting your 4x4 from rust is essential to maintaining its longevity and performance, especially if you frequently drive in harsh environments. The best way to prevent rust is through a combination of regular maintenance and protective measures. Start by thoroughly washing your vehicle, including the undercarriage, to remove dirt, salt, and other corrosive substances. Applying a high-quality rust-proofing spray or undercoating to the undercarriage, wheel wells, and other vulnerable areas can create a barrier against moisture and debris. Regularly inspect your 4x4 for any signs of rust, especially after off-road adventures, and promptly treat any affected areas with a rust converter or remover.
