Best tire size for a Land Rover discovery 1 with a 2 inch lift?

I have just fitted my Land Rover Discovery 1 with a 2 inch lift and was wondering what the best tire size for it would be.

It has the 300 TDI engine so I do not want anything too big that would make the thing gutless. I would also like to no do any cutting on the bodywork.

Any suggestions?

I would go for a 245/75r16. It won't take away all your power, your diffs won't explode and you will also not need to do any trimming

I agree with the above. If you do not want to do any cutting or loose any power the 245/75.16 might be the best option.

You can also give the 235/85/16 a try which is a taller but thinner tire, it all depends on the look you are aiming for
