Anyone running mismatched suspension?

I have a certain brand suspension kit that I want to change the rear shocks to some longer ones to increase articulation. If I do this it will mean I will be running mismatched suspension with shocks from one brand and coils from another one.

My question is did you guys ever to this? Would there be any issues with ride quality and damping?

I did on my old rig. With the original shocks it definatelly behaved better but it wasn't bad. It depends though, you may be lucky and the new shock may work just like the old one or even better it depends really. Regardless, you won't end up with something that dangerous to drive

I have done it many times on many of my off roaders. Sometimes some combos do not work great together but it isn't too bad the truck still drives well down the road.
