300 series land cruiser. What are your opinions?

What are your opinions on the new model Land Cruiser? I am not impressed to be honest

Sadly I do not like it all that much either. Too modernised with the majority of engineering going to comfort and on road performance. Toyota has forgotten the routes of the vehicle and is now trying to make a luxury off roader which is not for the Land Cruiser name

Yeah not a big fun. They have taken the Land cruiser and turned it into a rival of the Range Rover therefore killing all of its ruggedness and off road abilities.

I am sure it is still more robust and reliable than a Range Rover but nowhere near to what the older trucks used to be

It still is the Land Cruiser model so just like the 200 series I would expect it to be softer but I wouldn't really think it is unreliable. That said, I wouldn't buy it even if it did come to America. The IFS means it is difficult to lift and some other design elements make the car more suitable for road travel rather than remote off road touring
