Putting LS2 motor in a 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer?

I just looked a pretty sweet deal on a 1987 Grand Wagoneer. The motor is out of it, transmission is still in it. But what really jumps out is the body and interior is near perfect. I'm talking about the interior looks like new and exterior I was told was original paint. The person has had it in their garage for 24 years and just wants it out. Talk about a find!

My question is if a LS2 would fit in this thing and what transmission could I get away with using?

The frame is wide enough and an LS motor is narrow. It should fit well. An LS with a 4 or 6 speed trans would rock.
