Can I keep my 3.73 gears and jump up to 35" tires?

Will this work on my JT without stressing out the motor or transmission? I'm not sure of the weight difference from 33" to 35", not to mention larger and likely heavier wheels.

Do any of you have 35's using stock gearing?

Yeah you'll be fine. You are going to get up to speed slower and not have as much snappiness. If you do a lot of off-roading with hills, you'll want to move to something shorter, like 4.88.

Are you running a manual or auto? If you have a manual, do yourself a favor and just get the 4.88's. Automatic tranny it's going to be 'OK'.
With a manual if you don't change gears on the highway, you'll likely be in 6th gear all the time. Unless you get one hell of a tail wind pushing you!

Oh yeah, if you have an automatic transmission and use the manual shifting 7th and 8th gear will be toast with those gears and larger tires.
