Opinions on overland vans?

Contemplating on getting an overland van due to the sleeping comfort. Any inputs from people who have used them?

If you are only heading down dirt roads they are great mate. For tougher off roading they suck as I am sure you know

Great for sleeping in, not so great for going to remote places!

vey comfortable, expensive and perfect for normal camping. I wouldn't say they are ideal for remote travel
