How are you heating water for shower while camping?

How are you setting up your shower system for heating water in the field?

Ive been using an on demand water heater like this one. Camplux.
Its probably pushing 20 years old now. I'm actually looking for another solution. The water heater works very well but i want something smaller. One of my ideas is a heater that uses my vehicles engine coolant. I made one of those years ago. It worked well but the vehicle has to be at temp for it to work. The on demand heater, is more portable and I don't need a warm running truck. I need smaller.

If I was able to build an on demand, It would be half the size of what's out there. The ones on the market are actually too much. All of the ones I've used (mine and others) had to be turned down because their too hot. Mine will literally boil water on high. Half the size will work well for us.
