Gas vs diesel for heater in Patriot X1 trailer?

I was watching a video from this channels YouTube showing someone with a diesel heater installed in the nose of their Turtleback trailer. I looked up the brand the recommended (Planar) and it looks like this company has both gas and diesel heater options. Which is better?

Oh man, not sure on this one. I think diesel is more common. But I have seen some gas heaters coming up.

I'm near certain both are going to consume the same fuel, I guess it will boil down to convenience of which fuel you are using already on your rig.

Gas is newer, not as popular for heaters as of right now, BUT more fuel economic.

Hmmmm, I'd stick with diesel, more history and I just don't feel comfortable with burning gas.
