Can the Jeep 4.0 handle forced induction?

I am thinking of turbocharging my TJ wrangler but I am not sure how the engine is going to fair. I am not looking for huge numbers so o won't be turning the boost up by much. It's mostly so I can make the car a bit faster again because with all the gear it has gained a lot of weight and is now coming slow!

They can handle it from what I know but I wouldn't push it too much. Somewhere around 250hp should be fine

yes it can but don't overdo it. It's better to talk to a tuning shop or do some very good research online before you do anything with it
