Can a Maxtrax be used as sand anchor?

These things are supposed to be super strong. Just thinking, can one of these be used as a sand anchor to pull your rig out?

Two things I would suggest to make this possible:

1. The Mattrax would need to be buried really good in the ground (deep)
2. I would use two of these together

And goes to say, put your rope down as low as possible or better yet, wrapped around MaxTrax below surface.

It's all about the position of the line that you are using and how well you have the Mattrax planted in the ground.

This all depends on how bad you have yourself bogged down too. If you are down to the frame this is going to be a tough pull out regardless of what you are anchored too.
