You could always fasten on the front of bed, looking at dimensions of Gladiator and this thing, it should work just fine.

Are you looking for that to heat up so you can take showers with it? If so, in a truck bed won't do it, you'll want something on your roof.

It may be better on the roof as it will be gravity fed. In the bed you will need some sort of pump to get pressure out of it.
