Will an Alp 1000W generator run on its side?

I'm seriously doubting this, but going to ask regardless. I read a number of reviews and just watched a video this site pushed out last year on one of these generators and ordered one. I don't have a ton of spare room on my rig to store this and was thinking about mounting to the roof. Now if I mount standing up, well that is going to be tall. If I could get away with laying this down on its side and still have this thing run, that would be great and make thing easier for me. But I'm thinking the oil might not flow as it should to cool this thing down, is that correct or will it will still flow regardless?

No, you will need to have it standing upright. If you run that on it's side you will ruin the motor.
