Where would you place you awning? on the side or at the back?

I would get one for the side as there is much more space to install a big one

Mine is a pickup truck so my only option is the side. Even if I had a wagon though I would still place it on the side as that is where I tend to sit around. The roof is far longer there too so you have the option for a longer awning

Side, that way I can get in and out of vehicle for items I'm after without getting wet if it's raining.
