Upgrading from an old g-wagon to the new one?

I have a 1990 G-Wagon and I am thinking of upgrading to the new one as the old girl is getting pretty tired.

I am not convinced on the reliability of the new one though, especially for off road use. What would you guys do in my situation?

No way! the new ones are too complicated. The old ones used to be tanks, stick with that one. With the money of the new one you can rebuild the old one twice!
