Tare Weight?

I'm looking at offroad trailers right now and noticed one manufacture is listing "Tare Weight". Now just to be clear, this is equal to what we call "dry weight" right?

Yes, that is the dry weight of the trailer

Funny is that I noticed that on trailers that are from overseas. But it does mean dry weight, I had looked this up as well.
