Tailgater Tire table durability

I have read a number of reviews on this table and saw the video from someone from this site and picked it up. It's pricey for what it is, but from a utility standpoint, it's worth the money. Now here is my question, how durable is the finish on these tables? Do you need to use the bag or can I toss this in the back of the truck and be done with it? I mentioned price earlier because I don't want to mess it up, well not quickly rather. So can it take a little abuse?
