Overlanding with kids, is it a good idea?

I am thinking of taking the whole family on a long overlanding adventure but I fear that the kids will be bored big time. Anyone have any inputs?

Nope, never a good idea. They get bored and cranky. The best trips are the ones with mates who share the same passion

It depends on your kids mate. Some kids hate the car others love it.
