The problem with these tops isn't just the discoloring, they create a greenhouse effect in your cabin and can get very warm. IMHO, the AC in these trucks isn't that good and it can get very hot as a result.

When T-Tops were a thing years ago, those were the biggest complaints we got. This is also why a market sprung up for removable insulating covers for underneath.

Buddy has one of these roofs and his truck is always SOOOOOOO hot. IMO, the AC units in Jeeps isn't all that good, so these tops, while they look good, contribute to the heat problem in these trucks.
