The Sunnyside Offroad Boony Stomper is just 119 inches from the tongue to the rear bumper and measures 74 inches at its widest point, which is at the fenders. This small footprint enables you to tow it down narrow trails without worrying that the trailer is too big.
Likewise, at just 670 pounds (more with added amenities) with a 100-pound tongue weight, the trailer is ultra-lightweight – so lightweight, in fact, that you can tow it with a UTV. Nice!
The trailer is constructed using a 2×2 steel frame that’s lightweight yet incredibly durable for all your off-road travels. A two-inch SAE-rated Class-IV locking ball coupler is up front, and in the back are DOT LED brake lights, turn signals, and running lights. All the wiring for the lights runs internally in the frame for added protection from the elements and obstacles on the trail.
Another important exterior feature of the Sunnyside Offroad Boony Stomper is the suspension. You’ll find a custom-fabricated long-travel independent trailing arm suspension underneath with load-adjusting shocks. This suspension is unlike anything on the market and offers you a superb towing experience, whether on-road or off!
Boony Stomper Interior Features
The Boony Stomper comes well-equipped from the get-go, but you can turn it into a bespoke trailer for your specific needs by adding some or all of the options Sunnyside Offroad offers.
The walls and headboard area are carpeted to provide some softness and insulation, while the floors are linoleum for easy cleaning.
On one end, you’ll find storage cabinets with self-latching doors that offer you ample space for your gear. On either side are good-sized doors that make ingress and egress quick and easy. Having two doors also enables improved airflow through the cabin.
All told, the cabin is 6’4″ long and 46″ wide, so it’s the perfect size for solo overlanding adventures or taking trips with your favorite person (or pooch!).

For example, you can get a custom Boony roof rack, a tongue box, and interior cargo nets to give you more storage space and a greater ability to organize your belongings. You can also add a spare tire with a matching wheel and have it mounted and installed on the trailer.
On the power front, you can choose to add a Jackery Portable Power Station 240
or upgrade to the 500 model if you need even more juice. Add a USB charging port and an external AC power port to the mix if you like as well.
Inside, you can opt for a custom-fit 6-inch dual-density foam mattress for an even better night’s sleep. The mattress comes with a poly cover for comfort and ease of cleaning.
