Pros and cons of Polyurethane Bushings.

Is anyone running polyurethane bushings? I am thinking of getting some for my vehicle but I am not sure if they are worth the extra money. Any opinions?

I have run them in the past and di not like them at all. The make the truck ride much stiffer and after a month and some wet trips the start to squeak like crazy! Because they are hard the also limit suspension articulation.

Stick to the normal rubber ones!

Also not a fan of them. They may last longer but they limit articulation, can be squeaky and make the ride harsh

As mentioned above, they do last longer in most cases (the cheaper ones will fail before the original rubber ones your vehicle came with for sure)

The cons are that they are squeaky, harsh, and because they are not as flexible as rubber bushings they tend to limit the movement of suspension components.

In the case of bushings I would stick with OEM ones from the manufacturer, there is no real point in upgrading them
