Induction cookers. Are they worth the hustle?

I am thinking of switching from a propane stove to an induction cooker. There are obvious benefits such as being able to cook in a non fire area. However, is the whole process worth the hustle. Has anyone used such setup before?

I say they aren't. The use too much energy and the weight and complication added to the vehicle is too much in my opinion
