How to tap into reverse light from under the hood?

I have lights I'd like to hard wire into my reverse light circuit. I'm trying to find where that line is at under the hood. Ideally I'm going to have switch inside that I can toggle on and off for further control of these added reverse lights. I have a Gladiator for the record. Any idea where I can find that circuit please?

Why not just set a separate circuit that you can trigger on and off when you want? That would be the easier path.

You most likely wont find it under the hood. You need a diagram that shows how its controlled. Most truck rear wire looms run along the driver side frame and a few inside the body, driver side.
Most likely you will tap in under the dash.

I'll see if I can get a diagram from work. All I see on the internet is trailer wiring.
What year is it?
