How often do you change your wheel bearings?

Wheel bearings are one of the components that take the most beating when off roading. I change or regrets (depending on how they look) every six months. What about you guys?

My truck is old so I also check them every 4-6 months depending on how much I have been driving and on what type of terrain. If I have been through a lot of deep water I tend to check them straight after the trip as they love to get filled.

If left with water inside they rust and can seize up!
