Old thread but when I first saw this, it reminded me of when road and track did a write up on the new upcoming TJ (late 90's?). They brought it out to a track and complained about poor handling, power, milage and noise level in the cab. They basically said not to buy this as a serious track car.
Later one of the 4wd magazines did an article on an awd Porsche and how well it does rock crawling. Unfortunately the car got stuck in sand right away and they had to end the test.
