Big Bear Update: Trails closed until June 30th!

WOW, a buddy just forwarded me this video. I hope this isn't true.

When they do open, that is going to be some serious muddy trails up there with all that snow.

They do that after every heavy snow. I volunteered up there for quite a few years. When lockers became main stream, more stupid people came out. If the road is impassable, people will still drive it then sue the forest when they get injured. As it is people still cut off locks and move barriers. If enough people get hurt on the trails, they get closed. I cant count how many times we had to fight to keep some of them open just to have an idiot almost undo everything.

Seriously? that just annoys me, no wonder why so many things become more and more difficult these days. Seriously though, that is a lot of snow up there!
