Smittybilt Overlander Roof Top Tent

My neighbor was asking me about this Smittybilt Overlander Roof Top Tent. I have no clue Smittybilt even made tents. I told him I would ask around and see what opinions I could get. Do you happen to know much about this particular tent?

Smittybilt IMO makes inexpensive stuff, this tent might be a savings on the wallet, but I doubt it's going to be high quality

Actually this sent does have good reviews. Just doesn't have many of the luxuries you see in other more expensive tents.

Man, that's a big old tent. I'm not a Smittybilt fan, that stuff is made in china.

I have a friend with one of these tents. I will say this, it's a big tent. But it's heavy and it's not exactly the highest build quality and materials used.

Personally, I'm with you on this one. But I will say my friend that I mentioned above, he loves the tent. He bought because of someone else that has one and likes it. Good example of there is buyer for everything.

Ha! Our first tent was a Smittybilt. Don't get me wrong, it had issues, but wasn't all that bad.
