Farthest you will drive tires on low air between trailheads?

When you have your tires aired down below 20psi for example and let's say you have a little distance between trailheads, will you air up or go for it? Last weekend we exited from one trailhead and had a 17 mile drive to the next. I was personally at 18psi. Now I did keep the speeds below 50 the enitre 17 miles. Would you have aired up or just gone for it?

What air compress do you have? Personally that might make a good upgrade for you if you don't have one that makes fast work of airing up your tires. I have dual ARB and they fill up my tires fast. So if there is under 10 miles, I'll drive slow, but anything over that, I will blow up my tires. Pavement is horrible on tires that are soft.
