If done correctly, the suspension will take the lions share of any sort of abuse. Just answered similar question on the TOPO 2. A good suspension should take abuse.

That wrap isn't my cup of tea, but that trailer is pretty sick though. But I bet there is adjustments that need to be made to that trailer and rail system if you are taking that offroad often.
