BLM or national parks

Yep, where available, public land or off grid campgrounds.

I usually search for a scenic spot, if not any spot on public land will do!

+1 public land, or camp grounds that I have to pay for

Camp grounds, public land and um, that's it. Mostly those two.

We've been just staying in campsites with others. It's just me and my two kids. I don't carry a firearm, so more concerned about safety.
