Roof top tent for 4door Jeep Wrangler that can be taken on and off when not in use?

My question has a couple sub questions to it. I have two 4 door Wranglers and a Land Rover Defender coming hopefully next month. I don't want to purchase multiple roof top tents, but I have two trucks I drive right now and another coming next month. Is there a way to secure the roof top tent to cradle in my garage roof and drop on top of what ever truck I'm heading out with?

Second, what is the lightest 2 person hard top tent on the market today?

Nope, not that i'm aware of. Besides all the roof top tents I know of are bolted down good so they don't go flying off when you hit the breaks. I see your sticky spot. Might be something you rig up yourself. Kind of like those ones used for lifting roofs off.

That's the problem with roof top tents. That's a commitment to have one. They are too heavy to sling on and off. Leaving you forced to have on whichever rig you are heading out with. But call it as it is, ground tents or at least the ones I have seen can't compare to the luxury you get from a good rooftop tent. Just sucks they are such a PITA to own at times. Sorry, I'm no help here.
