Is using a propane heater in a tent a good idea?

Many people fear about getting poisoned from carbon monoxide or not having enough oxygen. I would say you do not need to worry about that as the good quality ones have oxygen sensors and they will automatically switch of when they sense that oxygen levels are getting low.

The biggest problem with propane heaters is that they lead to condensation. Humid air and cold do not go well together, they make the atmosphere unbearable. I would say you are better off with a good sleeping bag and some clothes

To much moisture created from propane, if you really want heat go with small generator and electric heater.
