How to save maps in Gaia for offline access?

I must be blind, I'm in Gaia and trying to figure out how to save a location so I can still access when offline. Now just to confirm, if I get to location with no signal, the GPS in my phone will still work right?

Top right in Gaia, you will see a circle with a "+" in the middle. Click that and then click on "Download Maps". It will then prompt you with an adjustable area on the map. Select the area and save. You will then have all these saved maps in your saved folders with any Waypoints you have selected.
